I’ve been doing hair for 23 years and along the way I've had the privilege of working with incredible stylists and learning from the absolute best salon owners and educators in the area! What I love most about this industry are the amazing relationships I've built, and the many more I'II create with this exciting new chapter of salon ownership. My goal with The Neutral for not only clients coming in but for our staff as well is to inspire, motivate, and create a space where people can relax, feel uplifted, and leave ready to conquer the world.

Being a stylist is more than just my job, it's my passion. I've been in this industry for 28 years, including 20 incredible years as a salon owner. Along the way, l've been fortunate to learn from amazing mentors and experience tremendous growth, connection, and gratitude. l love every aspect of this craft, from bold color to hair extensions, but creative cutting is where my heart truly shines (I'll never say no to a modern shag) I can’t wait to meet you!

With 17+ years of experience behind the chair, I’ve had the privilege of growing my craft right here in the community I call home. Being a local stylist has given me the opportunity to build lasting relationships while continuously evolving with the industry. I’ve worked alongside incredibly talented artists who’ve inspired me to push boundaries and refine my skills. Whether it’s a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, my passion is helping people feel like the best version of themselves, inside and out.

I'm a 2025 graduate of the Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech cosmetology program and proudly licensed in cosmetology. You'll find me at the front desk as a welcoming face of the salon, supporting our team as a receptionist and assistant. I'm passionate about learning, growing, and continuing to perfect my craft, and I'll be transitioning into our associate program this spring. I'm so excited to meet all of our amazing clients and be part of your beauty journey from the moment you walk through our doors!
Karolina Szymanska
My journey as a nail technician began in 2022, after spending five years as a stay-at-home mom. While I valued that time deeply, I also recognized a need to reconnect with my own creativity and sense of purpose. A routine manicure appointment reminded me of how much I enjoyed doing nails as a teenager, and it inspired me to pursue the field professionally. I enrolled in school, completed multiple Russian manicure courses-both in person and online-and dedicated countless hours to practicing and refining my skills. The learning process wasn't always perfect, but every challenge strengthened my technique and shaped the professional I am today. I now specialize in Russian manicure, a method known for its meticulous cuticle work, clean preparation, and precise product application. This approach allows me to deliver exceptionally neat, long-lasting results while prioritizing nail health. I remain committed to ongoing education, consistently exploring new techniques and products to ensure my clients receive the highest level of care and craftsmanship.
